Oguz Dinc is a Turkish writer from Istanbul. In Turkish, he has six short story collections, the latest, “Herkes Rolünü Oynar (Everyone Plays A Role)” published in 2026, and several pieces appeared in recognized literary journals. His fiction appeared in Glimmer Train, Fiction Southeast, Typishly, Doubleback Review, among others. Glimmer Train awarded his works a third place (2017) and two honorable mentions (2017 and 2019), and he was a finalist in Bridging the Gap Award given at SLICE 2018 Literary Writers’ Conference in New York. In 2024, one of his pieces was long-listed in LitMag’s Virginia Woolf Award for Short Fiction. He believes in the universality of the literature, and loves jazz.
